OPEN-E FORUM

I'm going to dedicate this section for no-holds-barred, honest-to-goodness feedback for the MINI-E experience. The only ground rules will be no profanity (broadcast TV equivalent) and it must be a first-hand MINI-E related experience. I will keep this section on top everyday.

  2. #161 signing in from Los Feliz/Silverlake (90027). Picked mine up on Friday evening and have been giving rides to neighbors Started at about 75% charge (21 m) and decided to charge @ 38% in anticipation of the work week (10 m distance) on surface streets. No glitches-just a few "read your manual" moments. Stay tuned!

  3. #092 signing in from Orange County. Picked mine up last Friday and have loved every minute of driving it! My only "complaint" if you can call it that is the driving radius. No real glitches but I do notice when fully charged it tells me I only have 88 miles to zero which is odd as I thought it was going to be around 105. I haven't yet tested the bottom but might this weekend. Good luck to all!

  4. #140 back in Long Beach. Had a four day visit to MINI E headquarters in Oxnard for warning light issue. Thrilled to be back in the MINI E. 588 miles and counting. :)

  5. #161 here. I also noticed a fully-charged MINI had 88 miles or potential miles. The trick is driving in a way that stretches this out. Have not found the eternal well of power driving yet, but living on a hill helps a bit. I still have not tested that radius yet and sense any freeway will reduce the trip. Lab rats unite!

  6. Thanks all for checking in. I pick mine up next Tuesday from Crevier #017 aka MINI PIG 017. My cousin who writes for Motor Trend Korea will join me for a first drive and a possible article. I'm still trying to convince him to let me get the group together...

  8. I really hate the 110V slow charger - good thing my work let's me charge it there. Checked w/ industry contacts about the latest status on the cable and connector UL status. It's supposed to happen soon, but I'm not holding my breath. Serenity now!
